Scion has released a duo of applications that deliver fashion news and the latest jams to users of the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch mobile platforms. Scion’s Sole Collector app features the latest in sneakers and sneaker news, while the Scion AV Radio app supplies music lovers with a direct connection to tunes from Scion Radio and Scion AV artists.
In collaboration with Sole Collector, the world’s leading consumer sneaker magazine, Scion launched an iPhone app in December that features up-to-the-minute news on sneaker releases, detailed descriptions of the newest shoes and exclusive images before they hit the blogs. Users can rank their favorites, email links to their friends, update their Twitter feed and link out to a map that indicates the retailers that will carry the sneaker once the kicks hit the streets.
In addition, the Sole Collector software comes with Scion AV integration that allows users to select one of the five most recent Scion CD Samplers to listen to while browsing.

Scion’s second mobile app, Scion AV Radio, allows users to listen to all of Scion Radio 17’s stations directly from the iPhone or iPod Touch, as well as check out the latest remix projects and CD Sampler releases from Scion’s in-house record label, Scion Audio/Visual. Users can additionally watch interviews of music artists with whom Scion has partnered, plus send links with content to friends.
