Scion Military Rebate Program rewards U.S. active duty personnel for their service
Returning home from a tour of duty is always a time for celebration, and what better way to mark the transition back into civilian life than with a brand new Scion? Toyota Financial Services (TFS), in partnership with Scion, is offering qualified U.S. Military a $1,000 rebate toward the purchase or lease of any new Scion vehicle as a salute to their bravery, courage and selflessness.
Members of America's armed forces with current active duty status may qualify for a $1,000 rebate towards the purchase or lease of a new Scion when financed or leased through a participating Scion dealer and Toyota Financial Services (TFS). Eligible customers must be on current active duty status in the U.S. Military - that is, in the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines, National Guard or Coast Guard, or on active Reserve in any of the branches.
Verifiable proof of military status or proof of active service is required at the time of purchase. Qualified customers must also receive a salary sufficient to cover ordinary living expenses and vehicle payments. The Scion Military Rebate Program runs from July 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010.
In an effort to build awareness of the promotion, Scion and the United Service Organizations Inc. (USO), the private, nonprofit organization that provides morale and recreational services to members of the U.S. military, have developed creative means for getting the word out. Scion-themed Overseas Care Packages and Welcome Home Kits deliver the message while helping to meet the needs of returning enlistees.
