SCION EXPOSED 2009
Fifth annual owner appreciation event goes for the thrills at two locations
Summit Motorsports Park and Cedar Point Amusement Park in Ohio are the settings for 2009 Scion Exposed, which takes place on Saturday, July 11. The famous racing complex and theme park welcome Scion owners and their guests for the annual owner appreciation event, a meet that began five years ago.

Scion owners from Ohio and surrounding areas will be treated to a busy program of attractions and giveaways at Exposed. The day begins at Summit Park in Norwalk, where open racing on its NHRA-sanctioned 1/4-mile drag strip commences bright and early. Scion Racing sport compact drag racing driver Kenny Tran will be on hand to offer professional advice to the racers.

Later that morning, top qualifiers will race for prizes in each of four classes, tC, xA, xB and xD. The winner from each category receives a $200 gift card, the runner-up a $100 gift card, and the owner of the overall lowest elapsed time across all groups will earn a $300 gift card.

The first part of Exposed concludes with Tran putting on a drag racing exhibition in his specially prepared tC race car. Tran will also have his racing rig and a couple of tricked out display vehicles in tow.

Scion owners then depart for Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, where upon arrival they will be greeted by a live performance from Kristin Jackson's KJBlues, CBC magazine's Cleveland Entertainer of the Year for 2009. Her set will usher in the Scion Car Show, open to all tC, xA, xB and xD.

Winners will be recognized later in the day at the Racing and Car Show Awards Presentation dinner in Cedar Point's Coral Courtyard. Judges will award a $200 gift card to winners from each class and a $300 gift card will be awarded to one Scion selected as Best of Show.

After the awards ceremony, owners will be let loose in the roller coaster capital to close out the evening at Cedar Point. Other Exposed activities include Scion henna tattoos and a Scion photo booth, and a special Scion Surprise comes with every registration packet.

Exposed is free to Scion owners who register, but unfortunately registration for Scion Exposed 2009 is already at capacity. Attendees are asked to arrive early and plan to stay all day.

Exposed is one of several methods Scion employs to thank its loyal customer base, and is organized by Scion associates from the Cincinnati regional offices of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. The activities provide Scion owners an outlet to enjoy their membership in the Scion community, allowing them to show off their cars, interact with other Scion owners, watch some serious racing, take a chance behind the wheel of their own car on track, and just have some good times, all compliments of Scion.
